With the season winding down, what games matter for the Milwaukee Bucks in terms of NBA draft standings?

With three games remaining in a season that isn’t going to end in a playoff trip for the Milwaukee Bucks, it’s time that we started to focus on what really matters at this juncture.

Watching your team lose is never easy, and most true fans certainly aren’t going to wish for that to transpire, but whether we like it or not we’re in a position where some closing losses could be really beneficial for the Bucks.

Over the next few days we’ll keep you updated on the various permutations and key games, upcoming and gone by, for the Bucks draft hopes.

Prior to any play on Sunday, April 10, the Bucks are currently projected to finish with the ninth worst record in the association, as per the incredibly useful Tankathon.com. That would give them a 6.1 percent chance at a top three pick and a 1.7 percent chance at the first overall pick.

Off the back of a three game losing streak, Milwaukee’s chances could improve further yet. Moving up to as high as the sixth pick is possible, although realistically they’re not going to get themselves any higher than the seventh spot. Still, making that leap is genuinely plausible.

Let’s look back at last night’s relevant games which couldn’t have gone much better for Milwaukee.
