Welcome back, Khris Middleton. After missing three contests he returned Sunday night to score 36 points–leading the Bucks as they bested the 76ers 109-108 in overtime.
Be honest-how upset would have you been if Robert Covington‘s corner three for the win would have gone in?
On one hand you’re tantalizingly close to a loss that you thought would be a 20+ point blowout in your favor. On the other–how can you stomach a loss to the lowly 76ers?
The Bucks were faced with a no-win situation and…well–they won.

On the scoreboard that is.
And make no mistake–Jason Kidd and co. are making a concerted effort to win. How else can you explain 40+ minutes for Giannis and Middleton? Heck, even the act of returning Middleton to the lineup, at this stage in the season, was bewildering at best.
But that matches the M.O. of this year’s Bucks team perfectly. They’ve bewildered, surprised, disappointed, and then bewildered again.
So it’s no surprise that they’re still giving top effort at this point. They’re just not doing themselves any favors in the lottery standings.
