Our staff has come together to vote on our own Milwaukee Bucks awards, and next up in the series is the team’s Defensive Player of the Year.

Welcome back to our 2015-16 Milwaukee Bucks end of season roundtables, and more specifically our Bucks awards.

To mark the end of the year, many of our staff members have come together to vote for our Behind The Buck Pass season awards, as well as to discuss some of the key and contentious talking points heading into the summer.

Over the next two weeks or so you can expect to hear the thoughts of many of our staff members as we reflect on the year that was, and explain any votes we might have cast in our own internal staff awards ballots.

Let’s move on to what really matters though.

After being amongst the league’s best defensive teams last season, the Milwaukee Bucks were catastrophic on that end of the floor this year. Amongst the general indifference or lack of awareness, which Bucks were there to try and buck the trend?

Our ballot contained the following three names, as well as the option to write in a vote for somebody else:

On top of those three, John Henson ended up thrown into the mix as a write in. Let’s take a closer look at why those four all got recognition in a season that was disastrous defensively for Milwaukee.
