Milwaukee Bucks 2015-16 Season Review: Miles Plumlee
Miles Plumlee‘s emergence for the Milwaukee Bucks this year was vital for many reasons, but how does his overall season stack up?
Heading into this season, it was hard to think of a way for Miles Plumlee to get consistent minutes.
That wasn’t a criticism of Plumlee by any means, as it was more about the Bucks being deep at the center position, with both newly signed Greg Monroe and newly re-signed John Henson in the fold.
Although the bar for expectations was admittedly set low, any type of positive production from Plumlee throughout the first two months of the season was gravy for the Bucks.

However, once we passed the halfway mark for the year, Plumlee’s role began to change.
Both of the Bucks big men ahead of Plumlee had been in rough spots as Monroe’s production had started to tail off and Henson went on the sidelines due to suffering a lower back injury.
That opportunity for consistent playing time, as well as a spell of starts, was one Plumlee took and ran with and by the end of the season, his emergence was one of the few success stories for the Bucks this year.
Overall, Plumlee’s growth this season provided a template for what the Bucks really need from their starting center, along with creating an interesting question for what his future holds with the team this offseason.
For now though, let’s take a look at how Miles Plumlee’s 2015-16 season unfolded.
