As most Milwaukee Bucks fans will know, the team struggled from behind the three-point line last season. Which free agent shooters can help them to remedy that problem?

With the NBA Draft coming up in a little over a week and free agency starting up in less than a month, now would be a good time for the Milwaukee Bucks to consider the multitude of options they will have this summer on the three-point shooting market.

Despite the disappointing fit that Greg Monroe turned out to be with the Bucks, the only real consistent three-point shooter the team has on the roster moving forward is Khris Middleton. Considering what the NBA has become, and is still becoming, the Bucks can’t afford to fall behind the competition too far.

While the team could consider dealing Monroe to initiate a change in style, and pick up some quality shooting role players in return, free agency provides its own opportunities.

More from Bucks News

Over the past two seasons, the Golden State Warriors have proven with the two best three-point shooters in the League that shooters in general are a lethal weapon in today’s game.

That’s something which has even led to some startling stats when their production is compared to last year’s Milwaukee Bucks.

Even though I’d like the Bucks to take a run at a guy like Nicolas Batum from the Charlotte Hornets or maybe even Harrison Barnes from the Warriors, they will probably be too expensive and some other team will have the luxury of throwing more money at them.

As an avid J.R. Smith fan I’d love to see him run and gun with the young Bucks, but I doubt he would leave a contending Cleveland Cavaliers squad for a team still growing.

With those options likely out of the window, the Bucks will still have plenty of guys to try to persuade to come to play with point Giannis Antetokounmpo and a hopefully even more explosive Jabari Parker.
