Milwaukee Bucks Summer Outlook: Greg Monroe
By Ti Windisch
The Milwaukee Bucks may not play again until the fall, but that doesn’t stop Greg Monroe from putting in work this summer to improve his game.
The NBA season is a long ways away. The boring months of August and September have to pass in their entirety, and then most of October stands between Milwaukee Bucks fans and watching a new season unfold.
But just because there are no games or practices happening doesn’t mean the Milwaukee Bucks aren’t grinding. After a very tough 2015-16 NBA season, Greg Monroe probably has somewhat of a chip on his shoulder.
Monroe knows he doesn’t suck, and that he in fact had one of his finer NBA seasons last year, but due to his poor fit with last season’s Bucks team he isn’t the most popular person in Milwaukee at the moment.
Like every NBA player, Monroe has strengths and weaknesses on the basketball court. To prove his doubters wrong and establish that a skilled enough post player can still be effective in the modern NBA, Monroe will need to shore up some of those weak points.
