Rashad Vaughn Was “Hurt”, Miles Plumlee Barely Played
Miles Plumlee and Rashad Vaughn were two of the most disappointing performers in the Bucks first preseason game against the Chicago Bulls. Vaughn was apparently hurt and did not play in the game at all.
It did not take long for the conspiracy theories to make their way to the forefront. Considering the reports that Milwaukee is looking to make a deal at the moment, they’re not unfounded.

Plumlee had no such injury, but he did play just six minutes against the Mavericks after turning in a dud of a performance against the Bulls. It’s too early to start worrying about his shiny new $50 million deal, but it would be nice to see Milwaukee’s big investment put together a good game soon.
The other interesting aspect of Vaughn sitting out is that it meant the Bucks went big in their starting five. Matthew Dellavedova, Giannis, Jabari, Mirza Teletovic and Monroe were the starting five on Saturday night.
That lineup wasn’t bad, but it’d be somewhat of a surprise to see it rolled out on Opening Night. There are enough question marks around this team that not much can really surprise Milwaukee Bucks fans anymore, though.

All in all, this game had more positive than negative signs for the 2016-17 Bucks. Hopefully they can keep up their winning ways on Wednesday against the Indiana Pacers.
