After dismantling a division rival over the weekend, the Milwaukee Bucks were back at it again last night, taking care of business against another Central division foe in the Detroit Pistons.
Both teams got off to a solid start, trading the lead back and forth and countering any possible run that could break the game wide open. It was in the second quarter where that changed, going in the Bucks’ favor.
The Bucks really separated themselves by regularly forcing turnovers (eight, to be precise) that resulted in easy scoring opportunities. By the time the second quarter was finished, the Bucks had outscored the Pistons 28-15.

While the Bucks didn’t have a similarly dominant quarter in the second half, they managed to keep the lead well out of harm’s way, leading by as much as 20 late in the third quarter.
Even after getting off on the wrong foot to start the fourth, it didn’t take long for the Bucks to make one more push to ensure the victory well before time ran out.
Now winners of their last two games, the Bucks have a very good chance to end things on a high note heading into the All-Star break, especially after a whirlwind of a month on the court.
