The Milwaukee Bucks have just one game left before the All-Star Break, against the Brooklyn Nets in the Barclays Center on Wednesday night.

The Milwaukee Bucks are just one game away from the eighth seed in the Eastern Conference right now. It’s possible that Milwaukee could go into the All-Star Break holding on to that eighth seed, depending on how the team looks on Wednesday (and some other factors.)

The Brooklyn Nets are the last team the Bucks face before the break. Milwaukee has struggled to beat some bad teams this season, but the Nets have been the exception. A win against Brooklyn on Wednesday night would complete a four-game series sweep for the Bucks over the Nets.

The Nets are easily the worst team in basketball, and injuries haven’t helped any. Jeremy Lin barely has played this season, and Quincy Acy might miss Wednesday’s game as well. Potential trades could result in other Nets sitting out too, although there’s been no definitive word on that just yet.

More from Bucks News

Brooklyn has not won a game since January 20, meaning the Nets have now lost 13 consecutive games. They sit at 9-46, a whopping nine games behind the Orlando Magic. Brooklyn is a basketball disaster zone at the moment.

As Milwaukee knows from some losses earlier this season, any team can win on any night. Even the Brooklyn Nets. The Nets are well-coached and they really do try, they’re just not good enough to win very often.

To see how they could pull off the upset or how the Bucks could carry their winning streak into the All-Star break, we’ll look through major keys for both teams. After that a Net to watch will be highlighted, followed by some score predictions for Wednesday’s action.
