Milwaukee Bucks: 4 Small Forwards To Target At NBA Trade Deadline
By Reid Mueller
With the injury to Jabari Parker, the Milwaukee Bucks may look to add some depth at small forward before the NBA trade deadline on Thursday.
The Milwaukee Bucks lost a key piece of depth at the small forward position when they lost star player Jabari Parker to a season ending ACL injury.
Playing out the rest of the year, they will have to rely on a combination of shooting guards and power forwards such as Tony Snell, Michael Beasley, and Mirza Teletovic in Jabari’s place.
If the front office is indeed looking to make a playoff push, the Bucks may need to add a small forward to take the pressure off their role players.

In their current setup, Giannis Antetokounmpo and the still recovering Khris Middleton will be asked to do even more than would have been expected of them to begin with, while a Tony Snell or Michael Beasley slots in alongside them.
Jason Kidd hadn’t given Beasley a ton of consistent playing time before the injury, choosing to play him when he was hot, and sit him when he wasn’t his most engaged. Now, the team doesn’t have the luxury of sitting him and is even forced into putting the like of Beasley and Teletovic at their less natural small forward position for stretches.
So, whether the Bucks are looking to add depth for a playoff run in the coming months, or whether they’re trying to get ahead of the curve with a replacement who can help cover for Jabari for most of next season too, the trade deadline may provide the answers.
Who are the players who might be available who could warrant consideration? Let’s take a closer look.
