Craig Hodges for Jay Humphries is still a very interesting trade in itself. Hodges was one of the 1980s’ premier sharpshooters, and he led the NBA in three-point percentage twice, including the year he was dealt. Hodges made a blistering 49.1 percent of his threes between two teams that season.
Humphries wasn’t that skilled at shooting, but he was a more productive player than Hodges who factored into some good Bucks teams of that era. Humphries is still tenth among all Bucks in total assists, and sixth in assists per game in franchise history.
Well, that’s it! All 11 trade deadlines and 15 trades the Bucks have made at various NBA trade deadlines over the years. Most of the deals Milwaukee has made at the deadline have not been very good, but maybe that will change at future deadlines!
