The Milwaukee Bucks take on another Western Conference foe at home when the Phoenix Suns come to town Sunday afternoon.

So much for that winning streak the Milwaukee Bucks had before the All-Star break. It officially ended on Friday night, when the Bucks took on the Utah Jazz and got handled pretty easily.

That loss was not great for Milwaukee’s playoff push. The Bucks are now down to tenth in the East, with the Detroit Pistons still in the eighth spot and the Miami Heat leap-frogging Milwaukee in the standings to move up to ninth.

The margin of error for the Bucks to make the postseason just became miniscule. Milwaukee has 26 games left this season, and if they lose more than a handful of them the chances of the Bucks sneaking past Detroit and Miami is razor-thin.

There is one silver lining. The team the Bucks play on Sunday is trying to lose games. The Phoenix Suns are the second-worst team in the NBA (behind only the Brooklyn Nets) with a record of 18-40.

With the Los Angeles Lakers breathing down their necks for that second-best lottery spot, Phoenix needs to keep on losing. The youth movement is in full swing here now, largely because the Suns have long since realized their season will end after 82 regular season games.

To see how either team could win, we’ll go through major keys for the Suns and the Bucks. After that it’s time to check out a Sun to watch, followed by some score predictions from our staff.
