The Milwaukee Bucks could use a victory on Wednesday night, but the surging Denver Nuggets won’t make it easy for the Bucks at home.

The Milwaukee Bucks couldn’t topple the Cleveland Cavaliers on Monday night, which is to be expected considering Cleveland is the reigning champion of both the Eastern Conference and the NBA at large.

The Denver Nuggets will be in Milwaukee to play on Wednesday night, and that game might not be much easier. Denver is currently holding the eighth seed in the Western Conference, and although they are 27-33 Denver has played better than their record indicates.

More from Bucks News

The Nuggets are 13-10 since January 12. Denver is not here to make the lottery and slowly improve–this was a team with reported interest in Dwyane Wade this summer and Paul George at the NBA trade deadline.

This team wants to win games sooner rather than later, and has gotten some wins without even making any of those major moves. Much of that is because of the player to watch in Denver, although there are other key cogs on the team as well.

To find out one of the more important cogs for both the Nuggets and the Bucks, we’ll go through major keys for both teams to win on Wednesday. Then we’ll circle back to that player to watch, followed by some score predictions on Wednesday’s action.
