The Milwaukee Bucks can notch another win by taking care of business at home against the shaky New York Knicks.

The Milwaukee Bucks schedule is starting to pick up. Milwaukee plays seven games in the next 11 days before the next time the Bucks get consecutive days off. In all likelihood, this stretch will determine if Milwaukee qualifies for the 2017 NBA Postseason.

Starting it off the right way will be important. The first game up is against the New York Knicks at home on Wednesday night. The Knicks won their last game against the Orlando Magic, but the super team in NYC has a disappointing 26-38 record this season.

New York is a team in disarray after thinly-veiled attempts to force Carmelo Anthony out of dodge failed to work. The Knicks seem more ready to rebuild after buying out Brandon Jennings and sitting down Joakim Noah for the season with a knee injury, but Melo and Derrick Rose still lead New York in shots attempted per game.

More from Bucks News

The Knicks aren’t in a good place as a franchise. The Bucks aren’t exactly Spurs East themselves, but Milwaukee has built a nice little winning streak they could extend by beating a flailing foe on Wednesday night.

No game is easy, and each win requires a strong game plan in addition to good effort and play from most of the Bucks. Even the Knicks have dangerous players like Kristaps Porzingis, Melo and Rose who can make teams pay on defense.

To identify both team’s game plans, or at least parts of them, we’ll go through major keys to success for both Milwaukee and New York. After that we can identify a Knick to watch, followed by some predictions on the game.
