The Milwaukee Bucks get a chance to prove themselves against a playoff team on Friday when the Indiana Pacers visit Milwaukee.

The Milwaukee Bucks are peaking just in time to make a playoff run. For a while it seemed like Milwaukee’s season was doomed to end in another lottery appearance, but thanks in large part to Khris Middleton‘s return the Bucks are rolling.

The Chicago Bulls are currently holding onto the eighth seed in the East, and both the Bucks and the Miami Heat are just one game behind Chicago at the moment. Getting a big win against the Indiana Pacers on Friday could slide the Bucks into eighth, depending on how a game between the Bulls and the Houston Rockets goes.

These are exciting times to be a Bucks fan. Giannis Antetokounmpo is back to his destroyer of worlds form, the team is playing like a cohesive unit and maybe most importantly the wins are finally rolling in.

This will be the Bucks third game against Indiana, and a win would ensure Milwaukee controls the season series, as the Bucks are 2-0 against the Pacers thus far this season. Controlling this series would open up the door to a higher seed for Milwaukee–a win on Friday would mean the Bucks are a game and a half from the sixth seed, with the tiebreaker over the team that currently holds it.

Looking that far ahead seems premature, so let’s bring it back to Friday night. To see how either Milwaukee or Indiana can come out on top, we’ll look at major keys to victory for both teams, followed by highlighting a Pacer to watch and making some score predictions.
