The Milwaukee Bucks face another dynamic young squad when the Minnesota Timberwolves roll into town on Saturday night.

The Milwaukee Bucks are suddenly a playoff team, as the Bucks currently hold the eighth seed in the Eastern Conference. Everybody and their brother, including this writer, figured the Bucks were done like dinner a few weeks ago.

Rattling off five straight wins has silenced those concerns about Milwaukee’s season. The Bucks now hold tiebreakers over the Indiana Pacers and Chicago Bulls, and because of their division record will hold the tiebreaker over the Detroit Pistons even if Detroit sweeps the Bucks over the rest of the season.

That’s a bunch of good news! Here’s some more. The Bucks are just half a game behind those Pistons, and a game and a half behind the sixth-seeded Pacers. Thanks to Milwaukee holding tiebreakers in both cases, a three-way tie in record with those three teams would result in the Bucks holding the sixth seed.

More from Bucks News

That’s worth an entire tweet of *eye raised emojis* right there, but Milwaukee needs to remain focused on short-term goals to ensure this season becomes a success. Saturday night brings another game for the Bucks, this one against the Minnesota Timberwolves.

Minnesota is one of the hottest teams in the NBA lately, and the Wolves are coming off of a huge win over the Golden State Warriors on Friday night. Both of these teams will be tired as they’re both on the second night of a back-to-back.

To see how either drained team could come out on top, we’ll look at major keys for both of them to win. After those it’s time to check out a Wolf to watch, followed by some final score predictions on the game’s action.
