The Milwaukee Bucks begin an important road trip on Monday when the Bucks take on the playoff-bound Memphis Grizzlies.

The Milwaukee Bucks schedule isn’t getting any easier from here on out. Milwaukee’s game against the Memphis Grizzlies on Monday is the start of a six-game stretch on the road that will keep the Bucks away from home until March 24.

With just a one-game lead over the dangerous Miami Heat, this stretch is important for Milwaukee’s playoff ambitions. Not all of the teams the Bucks take on on the trip are that good, but it’s never easy to come away from an away game with a win, especially in the midst of a weeks-long road trip.

Luckily for the Bucks, the Grizzlies are reeling right now. Memphis is 0-5 over the team’s last five games, and just 2-6 since the All-Star Break. The Grizzlies aren’t getting anything from Chandler Parsons, and Mike Conley and Marc Gasol can only carry the team so high.

More from Bucks News

The honest truth is that the Grizzlies roster just isn’t stacked with talent. Memphis relies on players like Toney Douglas, Troy Daniels and Andrew Harrison to play big roles, and not all of them are up to the challenge.

Head coach David Fizdale is loved seemingly around the league, and he’ll need to prove himself by snapping the Grizz out of their current funk. That means the Bucks have to take on a Memphis team that is essentially backed into a corner.

To see how either the skidding Grizzlies or the surging Bucks could come out on top, we’ll look at major keys to victory for both teams, followed by highlighting a Grizzly to watch and making some score predictions.
