The Milwaukee Bucks got ravaged by made three-pointers and easy dunks against the Golden State Warriors on Saturday night.

There are losses, then there are shellackings. The Milwaukee Bucks experienced the latter on Saturday night when the Bucks strolled into Oracle Arena to take on the Golden State Warriors for the second time this season.

Milwaukee started the game with confidence, and they had good reason to do so. Even when Kevin Durant was healthy, the Bucks nearly beat the Dubs earlier this season in Milwaukee.

There’s no reason to assume they couldn’t keep up with them again, especially since Stephen Curry and company had been struggling, right? Wrong. Very, very wrong.

More from Bucks News

Milwaukee jumped out to a 17-5 lead early on against Golden State. It seemed like the Warriors were still in a bit of a funk, and that the Bucks could potentially sneak out of Oracle with a win over the NBA’s best team in the regular season. That is not what happened.

The Warriors came back to life and outscored Milwaukee 112-75 for the rest of the game. As if a 25-point loss wasn’t bad enough, the Dubs were +37 over Milwaukee after about the four and a half minute mark in the first quarter.

Golden State never looked back and rode to an easy win. We’ve got four takeaways to break down from the rough loss–some encouraging, some less so.
