Building on their playoff push, the Milwaukee Bucks took care of the Charlotte Hornets on Tuesday night. With that, we break down what stood out the most in the win.
Following their dreadful loss against the Chicago Bulls over the weekend, the Milwaukee Bucks bounced back on Tuesday night by beating the Charlotte Hornets 118-108.
Right from the jump, the Bucks took control of the game and thanks to the hot shooting starts of a few key individuals, it wasn’t long until they built their lead into double digits midway through the first quarter.
That only continued in the second quarter as the Bucks stayed hot from both the field and beyond the arc, leaving the Hornets without much to counter the Bucks’ potent offensive attack. Honestly, we’ve seen a lot of good quarters from the Bucks this year and that second quarter has to be right up there.

After initially carrying over their first half rhythm at the start of the second half, the Bucks eventually started to go cold on the offensive end. As the Bucks started to struggle for the first time on the night, the Hornets were able to find a rhythm by attacking the Bucks around the basket and burying shots from deep.
Eventually, that started to test the Bucks’ lead midway through the fourth quarter as the Hornets brought the lead down to single digits for the first time since the first quarter.
Despite the Hornets’ mounting comeback attempt, the Bucks held them off late in the game by hitting timely shots to fend off the comeback before finishing it off for good at the free-throw line.
So without further ado, let’s take a deeper look at who and what stood out for the Bucks in the win last night.
