Milwaukee Bucks: Takeaways From Win Over Detroit Pistons
By Ti Windisch
Putting Shots Up
The Bucks set a season-high in three-pointers attempted on Friday, with the team combining for 36 attempted triples. If some more of those had gone in the Pistons might’ve never been able to stage their second half comeback.

Thon and Khris both made four of their seven attempted threes, meaning they combined for eight of Milwaukee’s 14 threes. Matthew Dellavedova made two of five three-pointers, and while both Snell and Rashad Vaughn attempted four threes only Vaughn was able to convert any. He made two of his four tries.
Hopefully the Bucks aren’t turned off by the game being so close while all of those threes were being taken. With this win, Milwaukee moved to 7-1 when the team makes 14 or more threes.
The Bucks are good anyway, but good luck stopping Giannis when he’s got shooters alongside him who are killing other teams whenever they get a lick of space. The next several weeks should be exciting for Milwaukee Bucks fans, especially so if Milwaukee keeps attacking from beyond the arc.
The Bucks get another home game on Sunday afternoon when they take on the Dallas Mavericks in an early afternoon game.
