The Milwaukee Bucks, or at least some of them, will take on the Boston Celtics in their regular season finale on Wednesday.

The Milwaukee Bucks are now locked in as the sixth seed in the Eastern Conference. With one game to play still this year, the Bucks have quickly run out of reasons to compete before the NBA Playoffs start.

The Boston Celtics have not. Boston is fighting for the first seed in the Eastern Conference. Since the Cleveland Cavaliers are resting LeBron James for the rest of the regular season, Boston has a good shot at getting the top seed in the East if they win on Wednesday.

As previously mentioned, the Bucks have nothing to play for. Because their seed is set, Milwaukee is not bringing their entire team to Boston to play against the Celtics.

More from Bucks News

Matthew Dellavedova, Tony Snell, Khris Middleton and Giannis Antetokounmpo will all be staying in Milwaukee when the rest of the team heads to Boston. That decision seemed to have been made even before the Atlanta Hawks won on Tuesday.

The Hawks victory made the decision to rest those starters an easy one. The Bucks have looked tired and weary lately, and getting them a game off right before the playoffs just makes sense. The Toronto Raptors are waiting, and the Bucks will need to be ready for quite a challenge in the first round.

Even if this game doesn’t really matter, we’ll still look at major keys for both the Bucks and the Celtics, plus a member of the Celtics to watch and some score predictions on the action.
