Player To Watch: Isaiah Thomas
Did you know that Isaiah Thomas has a chip on his shoulder? It’s maybe the best-documented NBA fact since the whole “The Golden State Warriors blew a 3-1 lead in the NBA Finals” thing.

Thomas may be spending a lot of time talking this season, but it’s very hard to argue against the results he’s brought to the table in Boston. IT is putting up 29.1 points per game on 46.4 percent field goal shooting and 38.0 percent three-point shooting this season.
In his last game against the Bucks, Thomas was even better than usual. He posted 32 points on nine-for-17 shooting from the field and five-for-nine shooting from beyond the three-point arc. Thomas also added five rebounds, four assists and three steals in that losing effort against Milwaukee.
With the first seed on the line, it’s time for Isaiah Thomas and the Celtics to step up and stop being underdogs. Boston badly wants the top dog spot in the East, and Thomas will likely put on a show if necessary to ensure his Celtics get the win against the Bucks.
