As the Milwaukee Bucks and Toronto Raptors prepare to do battle in the first round of the playoffs, we look back on how the teams have fared against each other in the past.

The Milwaukee Bucks and Toronto Raptors tip off their first round playoff series on Saturday from the Air Canada Centre, marking the first postseason meeting between the two teams since the Raptors came into existence in 1995.

That’s not to say there isn’t a history between the two teams, though. Milwaukee and Toronto have previously faced off in 82 different regular season meetings, with the Bucks emerging as victors 47 times.

While the Bucks may hold the all-time advantage over their opponents to the North, momentum has dramatically shifted to close that gap in recent seasons.

More from Bucks News

When the Bucks defeated the Raptors late in the 2012-13 season, it marked 10 straight victories in this particular matchup for Milwaukee.

In the four seasons which have passed since, the Bucks have lost each season series and found wins generally few and far between.

With that shift in momentum coinciding with the arrivals of many key pieces who remain important to Toronto to this very day, it feels like a worthwhile exercise to chart how the games have played out between the two teams over the last five years.

So, before we start looking forward to Saturday, let’s take a moment to look back.
