The Toronto Raptors evened out the series with the Milwaukee Bucks, winning a close one in Toronto before heading out to Milwaukee for the next two games.

The Milwaukee Bucks battled back from deficits time and time again, but it wasn’t enough to overcome the Toronto Raptors late in Game 2.

Missed three pointers at the end couldn’t put the Bucks ahead after being tied at 100 after a clutch Giannis Antetokounmpo three-pointer with just two minutes to go.

Raptors’ star point guard Kyle Lowry put his poor performance on Saturday behind him with a 22-point showing. DeMar DeRozan and Serge Ibaka once again showed up big for the Raptors as well. With all of the Raptors stars clicking, they managed to pull out a win at the very end in spite of a shaky fourth quarter.

Much like Lowry, Khris Middleton also put Saturday behind him and went on to have a very nice scoring night, scoring 20 points, including 3-3 from deep. Still, he was in love with mid-range shots a bit too much, and only made 3-11 field goals that weren’t threes.

There’s plenty of reason for positivity as the Bucks head back to Milwaukee. It took everything the Raptors had to beat the Bucks in what was almost a must-win game for them. Additionally, the Raptors had to make a lot of tough shots that won’t always go in.

I’ll go over some of the key takeaways from this game, including what needs to change for the Bucks to do better during Game 3.
