The Milwaukee Bucks welcomed in their first batch of prospects ahead of next month’s draft, with an eclectic mix of players hoping to catch the eye of the team’s decision-makers.
It’s only been one week since the Milwaukee Bucks were eliminated from the playoffs in dramatic fashion, but time (and the NBA) waits for no man (or team).
The Bucks welcomed in their first group of draft eligible prospects for a workout on Thursday, in preparation for the NBA draft which will take place in Brooklyn on June 22.
This is two weeks earlier than the Bucks began this process last year, and with the Draft Combine in Chicago still 12 days away, the franchise certainly can’t be accused of being underprepared.

Although Bucks fans will likely have to wait until much closer to draft day to see of some of this class’ more high profile names come to Milwaukee for an audition of sorts, this year the Bucks have plenty of reason to look at a wider range of players than they ever have before.
With the franchise’s D-League team in Oshkosh scheduled to be fully operational to start next season, the Bucks aren’t just looking for players for the main squad or potential Summer League flyers, but also players who could become important pieces on their D-League roster.
The first workout session included a group of players with varied skill-sets, positions and backgrounds, according to the list posted on Bucks.com.
Let’s take a closer look at those who were in attendance on Thursday.
