Milwaukee Bucks 2016-17 season review: Rashad Vaughn
By Ti Windisch
Rashad Vaughn is likely running out of chances to impress the Milwaukee Bucks, especially after failing to show many positive signs in his sophomore season.
There was some confusion when the Milwaukee Bucks drafted Rashad Vaughn back in the 2015 NBA Draft. With Bobby Portis, a favorite of yours truly, still on the board, it seemed like an easy pick to grab the animated big man.
Instead, Milwaukee flipped the script and took Vaughn. The UNLV Running Rebel missed the March Madness tournament with an injury, but he was an effective scorer in his lone collegiate season, and seemed to be capable of becoming an effective bench scorer some day.

That vision has not panned out. Vaughn has scored more than 14 points exactly once in his NBA career over 111 career games. Bucks head coach Jason Kidd has given Vaughn some real chances to play, but he’s yet to have more than a scant few impressive performances in his time with the Bucks.
That’s not good for Vaughn’s future with Milwaukee, and in the NBA at large. He seems to have a great personality from every video clip shared involving the second year shooting guard, but it takes more than that to make it in the Association.
To get a read on Vaughn’s future, let’s look back and see the evidence he’s provided about his skills thus far. By reviewing the best and worst of his last season, plus looking at his best game of the season, we can figure out what Vaughn’s focus should be this summer.
