After missing the first portion of the 2016-17 NBA season with a torn hamstring, how did Khris Middleton do in his limited looks with the Milwaukee Bucks?
Khris Middleton had pretty high expectations on him entering the 2016-17 season. Until, that is, the Milwaukee Bucks swingman tore his hamstring in training camp, causing him to miss the first 50 games of the season.
The Bucks struggled without Middleton. In his 29 games played, Milwaukee was 19-10. The Bucks were 23-30 in the 53 games Khash sat out. Middleton’s presence coincided with a surge for Milwaukee in March that would lead to a playoff series against the Toronto Raptors.

Unfortunately, as soon as Middleton arrived Jabari Parker departed the Bucks lineup with a torn ACL. Seeing Milwaukee at full strength would be nice, although now that won’t happen until Jabari can return sometime next season.
Anyway, back to Middleton. It’s tough to review his season, considering the rust he was likely shaking off and the small sample size of games he played. Still, it’s certainly possible to get a picture of what Khris Middleton added to the Bucks.
By looking through his good and bad moments from 2016-17, plus Middleton’s game of the year, we can then move to seeing what he’s got to improve on to get ready for Milwaukee’s next campaign.
