Could Nick Young be a worthwhile NBA free agency addition for the Milwaukee Bucks?

The Milwaukee Bucks has made it a point of emphasis to find shooters, both in the NBA Draft and NBA free agency, lately. The Bucks paid significant amounts for the services of Mirza Teletovic and Matthew Dellavedova, and it might be forced to do the same for Tony Snell.

What if the Bucks can’t afford Snell, though, or if the team chooses not to pay him? Even with Snell still around, it could never hurt to add another wing player who can shoot, especially for the right price.

Enter Nick Young, aka Swaggy P. Young does not have a stellar reputation — he’s been on four different teams since he was drafted in 2007–but he can shoot. Last season Swaggy made a run at setting the Los Angeles Lakers record for made threes in a season, and would’ve broken it had the team not sat him down as part of their tanking.

It would make a lot of sense for Young to leave L.A. this summer, considering the team didn’t let him play out the season and chase that record. Could Milwaukee be a nice landing spot for Swaggy?

To find out, we’ll look at Nick Young’s strengths, weaknesses, potential salary and his apparent fit with the Milwaukee Bucks, to see if he’s a worthwhile free agent target.
