The Milwaukee Bucks dropped the ball and lost to the Sacramento Kings, ending their dreams of winning a Las Vegas Summer League title.

The Milwaukee Bucks found ways to both start and finish their last non-consolation bracket game of the 2017 Las Vegas Summer League in ugly, ugly fashion. The Bucks struggled right from the beginning on Wednesday, allowing the Sacramento Kings to take an early lead.

The Kings jumped out to an 8-2 lead that almost seemed insurmountable based on how the Bucks were shooting the ball early.

But both teams battled and the game was actually pretty close for a while, with the Kings leading at the half by four points and the Bucks holding a one-point advantage at the end of the third quarter.

The fourth quarter is when things got ugly for Milwaukee. A Gary Payton II three-pointer seemed to give the Bucks a huge six-point lead with under five minutes left, but a series of Georgios Papagiannis dunks and Bucks mistakes culminated with D.J. Wilson throwing away an inbounds pass with Milwaukee down two and just 12 seconds left.

Despite a cavalcade of errors on both sides after that, the final score held at 69-65 Kings after a pair of Skal Labissiere free throws. The Bucks Summer League stint for this season is almost over, as nothing but a consolation bracket game remains.

Time to break down this rough night for the Summer Bucks, and see what lessons can possibly be gleaned from all of the sloppy play.
