With the Milwaukee Bucks having finished up their Summer League play and with free agency winding down, how does their offseason look so far?

It may only be the middle of July, but it’s safe to say the Milwaukee Bucks have already had a busy and interesting offseason.

Since the Bucks wrapped up their season with a disappointing Game 6 loss against the Toronto Raptors in the first round of the NBA Playoffs, the organization has seen its fair share of highs and lows.

On the positive side of things, there was recognition for the stellar play of a couple of the Bucks’ young stars when Giannis Antetokounmpo and Malcolm Brogdon picked up awards at the NBA’s end of season award show.

Still, there were some less than ideal moments for the Bucks this summer too, perhaps most notably the drawn out and unfocused search process that led to the hiring of Jon Horst as Milwaukee’s new general manager.

With the season gradually edging ever nearer, the Bucks roster stands very similar to how it finished last season. For many this will lead to debate whether Milwaukee has improved or taken a step back.

That’s mostly a debate for another day, though. For now, let’s take a closer look at the events of the offseason so far.
