In the latest edition of our Milwaukee Bucks’ Win In 6 Podcast, we discuss all of the controversy surrounding Giannis Antetokounmpo’s EuroBasket withdrawal.

The latest episode of our Win In 6 Podcast arrives as we have an in-depth discussion about all of the controversy surrounding Giannis Antetokounmpo announcing he won’t be playing for Greece at the upcoming EuroBasket tournament.

The news created a wide variety of opinions from all of the interested parties, and certainly stoked some heated discussion on social media during what would be an otherwise dead spell of the offseason.

With some of the dust having settled, and a couple of days having allowed us to digest the various angles to the news, it was now our turn to take a deeper dive into the conversation.

More from Bucks News

We talked about the Greek federation’s conspiracy, the importance of EuroBasket to Greek basketball, the Greek people and Giannis, the lack of motivation for the Bucks to have masterminded a plan to keep him away, how he could have benefited from the experience of playing, and lastly, his injury.

Moving on from all of that Giannis talk, we discussed O.J. Mayo’s hopes of returning to play for the Bucks when his drug suspension is lifted next summer, and whether that would be a good idea for the Bucks.

We also talked about the revelation that Michael Beasley wasn’t interested in returning to Milwaukee in the coming season due to a lack of available minutes.

As usual, we wrapped things up by fielding questions from loyal listeners in our Twitter mailbag.

As always, joining me for this episode is Behind the Buck Pass contributor, and disappointed solar eclipse customer, Jordan Treske.
