The Milwaukee Bucks’ preseason kicks off on Monday night with a road game against an interesting Dallas Mavericks team.

The wait is over, Milwaukee Bucks fans! The Bucks finally have a game after a long summer off as they take on the Dallas Mavericks in Dallas on Monday night. It’s just the NBA preseason, but for basketball-deprived fans it’ll do.

The Bucks will be without two of their best and brightest young players on Monday. Jabari Parker will miss this and many more games as he recovers from an ACL tear, and Giannis Antetokounmpo did not travel with the team to Dallas due to the sudden death of his father over the weekend.

More from Bucks News

While the thoughts and prayers of every Milwaukee fan and player are with Giannis and his family during this tough time, the rest of the Bucks will be ready to take on a talented Mavericks team featuring Dirk Nowitzki, among other talented and noteworthy players.

Dirk still might play beyond this season, but it’s always wise to tune in and watch him at this point in his career. A signature moment could be just a grin and fadeaway jumper away, and those are not to be missed.

To find out what else shouldn’t be missed on Monday night we’ll go through major keys for both the Bucks and the Mavericks, followed by highlighting a Dallas player to watch, and looking at score predictions made by BTBP staff.
