The Milwaukee Bucks will strive for their first preseason win on Friday night against the Chicago Bulls.
The 2017-18 NBA preseason started off poorly and got worse fast for the Milwaukee Bucks, who were blown out by the Indiana Pacers on Wednesday night after losing a one-possession game to the Dallas Mavericks in their first preseason bout.
Their opponent on Friday night, the Chicago Bulls, have also played two preseason games thus far. The Bulls have found more success than the Bucks, as Chicago is 1-1 through two games. The Bulls are in the middle of a tear down and subsequent rebuild, so Chicago trots out an absolute hodgepodge of players and calls it a rotation.
Robin Lopez is probably the best Bull. That’s all that really needs to be said about Chicago’s plan for the season. That can actually work for a team in the preseason though, as an uncertain rotation and an abundance of young guys mean the Bulls will play hard.

The Bucks haven’t necessarily taken it easy in terms of effort on the floor, but the franchise clearly isn’t stressing about results in the preseason, nor should they be. Giannis Antetokounmpo, Thon Maker and Matthew Dellavedova all sat out of the Indiana game, as did Jabari Parker, of course.
Even if the Bucks lose again on Friday, it’s no cause for concern. Milwaukee is focusing on the games that matter, which is a smart philosophy for any franchise to have. Still, there’s a game coming up between division rivals, so let’s go through major keys for both team, a Bull to watch, and make some score predictions.
