After a stellar season when he became the oldest player to ever play for the Milwaukee Bucks, Jason Terry returns as maybe the NBA’s most effective 40-year-old.
When Jason Terry landed with the Bucks shortly before the beginning of the 2016-17 season, it seemed like little more than Jason Kidd bringing in another friend and former teammate who was trying to extend his career.
As it turned out, Terry became a vital cog in the Bucks machine both on and off the court, as Milwaukee ultimately put together a season that gave everyone around the organization plenty to be encouraged about.
As such, Terry’s return became an important storyline for the team over the course of the summer. Now 40 years old, Terry is still showing no signs of slowing down and with his return to Milwaukee will be planning on continuing to make a big impact.

While the level of Terry’s play in his first season with the Bucks may have been a little surprising considering his age, it certainly wasn’t completely out of the ordinary taken within the larger context of his skill-set and his career.
With that in mind, the Bucks and Terry will be hoping that he can be similarly productive in his second season with the team. His performance levels may not be the most essential ingredient to Bucks’ success this year, but good play from Terry would be a significant boost to Milwaukee’s cause.
