After an injury plagued 2016-17 season, the Milwaukee Bucks’ Khris Middleton is ready to hit the ground running in what could be his maiden All-Star season.

It’s amazing to think the Milwaukee Bucks finished as high as they did last season, considering Khris Middleton missed a total of 53 games.

Before the season even began, Middleton was ruled out for over half the season with a torn hamstring. By the time Middleton returned to the side, Milwaukee were sitting at an abysmal 22-29 record and staring down the barrel of another failed season.

Once Middleton returned however, the Bucks proceeded to embark on an amazing late season revival, finishing the final 31 games with a record of 20-11.

The value Middleton brings to the Bucks, both on and off the court, cannot be understated. He’s been one of Milwaukee’s most consistent players in recent years, and gave the greatest illustration of his importance to date in helping the team with their dramatic late season turnaround.

As such, if the Bucks are to return to their glory days from years past, Middleton will almost certainly play a huge role.

In the shorter term, let’s take a look at what Middleton can bring to the Bucks this season and if he can help them return to the playoffs again.
