Rashad Vaughn has yet to prove he belongs in the NBA on a long-term basis, could he change that in the upcoming season with the Milwaukee Bucks?

A somewhat surprising pick at 17th overall in the 2015 NBA Draft, things have yet to click into place for Rashad Vaughn in his NBA career with the Milwaukee Bucks.

In fact, a case could be made that Vaughn has never really managed to find top gear since an injury dramatically cut short his only season in college with the UNLV Runnin’ Rebels.

Now into his third season in Milwaukee, all of that has to be put behind Vaughn. The past needs to be left in the past, as Vaughn’s team needs him to step up and deliver this season, and he needs to do it for himself if he hopes to continue playing in the NBA.

More from Bucks News

Vaughn hasn’t been overloaded with minutes by any means in his formative years in the league, but Jason Kidd has certainly given him plenty of opportunity. That only looks likely to continue in 2017-18.

Vaughn will find himself slotted in behind the accomplished duo of Khris Middleton and Tony Snell in the Bucks’ wing rotation, but could easily earn a job as the next man up after them.

To do that, Vaughn will have to show much more than he has up to this point in Milwaukee. Is that possible? Let’s take a closer look at Vaughn’s game and current standing to find out.
