The Milwaukee Bucks lost for the first time this season to the Cleveland Cavaliers, but how did the players perform in the home opener?

After opening the season with a win against another opponent from upper tier of the East, the Milwaukee Bucks lost to the reigning Eastern Champion Cleveland Cavaliers 116-97 on Friday night.

Fans that came to the last home opener ever to be held in the Bradley Center left disappointed as the Cavaliers eventually dissected the Milwaukee Bucks’ defense.

Giannis Antetokounmpo had another monster performance, but with only one player joining him in double digit scoring and poor defense in the second half, the Bucks couldn’t keep up with the dynamic offense conducted by LeBron James.

Just two games into the season, players are still looking for a rhythm. Two members of the Bucks even saw their very first minutes in the NBA last night.

The defense looked much less coherent than it did against the Celtics on Wednesday. The Cavaliers were allowed 64 points in the paint, and 65.6 percent true shooting.

Offensively, the Bucks couldn’t keep up. The Bench was outscored 45-23 and only Giannis Antetokounmpo and Malcolm Brogdon made more than four field goal attempts.

We saw some encouraging signs from some players, and other things that players will need to improve upon, so lets look at how the Milwaukee Bucks fared individually.
