Even with reported interest in Eric Bledsoe, the Milwaukee Bucks are said to be unwilling to include Malcolm Brogdon in a deal with the Phoenix Suns.
As trade rumors rumble on in regard to the Milwaukee Bucks’ interest in Phoenix Suns guard Eric Bledsoe, the debate also continues among Bucks fans in regard to who may or may not be offered up in a trade.
Although there’s still no news on who exactly could be included in any Milwaukee offers for the 27-year-old, we do at least know one player who the Bucks are reportedly determined not to part with.
According to USA Today’s Jeff Zillgitt, regardless of any Suns’ interest in Malcolm Brogdon, the Bucks are not looking to include the reigning Rookie of the Year in any trade package.

With Phoenix in the middle of what promises to still be a relatively lengthy rebuild, there has been plenty of speculation as to the front office’s desire to bring back young players in any Bledsoe trade. Brogdon would certainly have fit that bill.
Not only did the 24-year-old impress with his readiness and stable play during his first season in the NBA, but he helped the Bucks to make winning plays almost immediately.
Building upon that, although the season is very young, the glimpses the former Virginia Cavalier has shown early in this new campaign indicate there may still be more to come from him too.

Brogdon is averaging 16.0 points per game on 47.2 percent from the field and 50 percent from deep, having played in three games of his sophomore NBA season so far.
Brogdon did miss Milwaukee’s win over the Charlotte Hornets due to an ankle injury, but will return to action for the Bucks’ game against the Boston Celtics at the MECCA on Thursday night.
Although there are bound to be other interested parties, Milwaukee’s strategy in any bid for Bledsoe will likely center around hoping to outlast the competition, and seeing if the Suns panic.
On the other hand, all it takes is one team to have a slow start to the season and offer up a little bit extra to bring Bledsoe in with a view to turning things around, and suddenly Milwaukee’s chances will be dashed.
