The Milwaukee Bucks took care of business against the Atlanta Hawks on Sunday afternoon. With that, we look at who and what stood out in the team’s decisive victory.

The Milwaukee Bucks put in a complete performance with their wire-to-wire win over the Atlanta Hawks on Sunday afternoon, winning 117-106.

Following their historic return to the MECCA late last week, which ended in an unsatisfactory result, the Bucks were looking to get rid of the sour taste left in their mouth with the loss. As it turned out, the rebuilding Hawks proved to be the exact salve the Bucks were looking for.

Thanks to Giannis Antetokounmpo, the Bucks were quick to get off on the right foot as the 22-year-old did his thing to break open the game early.

By having the upper hand mere minutes into the game, it set up the rest of the game for the Bucks as they alternated between pouring it on and doing just enough to keep the game in their favor.

While Antetokounmpo jumpstarted the team’s performance, the Bucks eventually got a full team effort later in the first quarter and throughout the rest of the first half.

Eventually, the Bucks’ offense was running like a well-oiled machine with the team moving the ball with ease as they finished the game with 30 assists on 44 made field goals for the day.

As Antetokounmpo carried the proverbial torch for the Bucks to start the game, it was Khris Middleton who rose to the occasion throughout the second half with his real-time bounce back performance.

Despite losing some steam toward the end of the game, the Bucks did exactly what good teams do by making easy work of the Hawks, and looked comfortably doing so for the majority of the game.

So without further ado, let’s dive deeper into what made the Bucks’ trip to Atlanta such a success.
