The Milwaukee Bucks lost their fourth straight game in a shootout against the Cleveland Cavaliers on Tuesday night, but what were the key takeaways from yet another heartbreaking loss?

After the Eric Bledsoe trade earlier in the afternoon, Tuesday night’s game against the Cleveland Cavaliers seemed to have a positive energy to start. The front office made a gamble on the current team, and clearly believes it has a chance to compete if not right-now, in the very near future.

Unfortunately, that was not near enough for the Milwaukee Bucks to take home the win in Cleveland.

It’s hard to judge a team based on a game against the Cavaliers. If the Cavs are dialed-in, they are the best team in the East. They possess shooting around the perimeter, savvy veterans, the know-how required to win, and some guy called LeBron James.

Cleveland can also become sloppy and lethargic at times, though, allowing some of the league’s cellar dwellers to beat them on a nightly basis.

On Tuesday night, it appeared the Cavaliers came with a more focused approach. The Cavs overwhelmed the Bucks to start the game, scoring 39 points in the first quarter and jumping out to an 11-point lead.

The Bucks made a run, led by Giannis Antetokounmpo‘s 40-point effort on 76.2-percent shooting, but it was not enough.

The game provided many fascinating developments, both positive and negative. Let’s take a look at some of the takeaways from Tuesday’s game.
