Where does the recently acquired Eric Bledsoe rank amongst the starting point guards the Milwaukee Bucks have run with in the past decade?
In what is perhaps the Milwaukee Bucks’ biggest move in years, Eric Bledsoe has found his way in Milwaukee via a trade which sent Greg Monroe and two future draft picks back to Phoenix.
Bledsoe is an explosive point guard who at times has been considered a top-10 talent in his position, and is widely recognized as both a high caliber and a high profile addition for the Bucks.
Much is expected of Bledsoe upon his arrival in Milwaukee. The 27-year-old will be asked to provide extra talent to complement Giannis Antetokounmpo and the remains of the Bucks’ core, while he also arrives at a time when the Bucks’ defense is at a new low and the offense needs some extra punch.

Bledsoe can’t be expected to single-handedly turn around Milwaukee’s fortunes, but he’ll certainly be expected to perform to a level that makes him a valuable tool for the team as they look to move closer to their ultimate goals.
The point guard position has long been a problem area for the Bucks, and even with the emergence of Malcolm Brogdon, the team’s need for another guard option who was a little but more dynamic has still been evident.
Considering the less than stellar recent past in terms of Bucks point guards, Bledsoe will have a real chance to carve out a positive place in franchise history, but where does he compare among the ranks of the most recent starting point guards to play in Milwaukee?
