Milwaukee Bucks: Takeaways from 98-90 win over Los Angeles Lakers
By Ti Windisch
The Milwaukee Bucks kept their winning ways going on Saturday night by handling the Los Angeles Lakers.
The Eric Bledsoe era continued in Milwaukee on Saturday night as the Milwaukee Bucks’ big-time addition started his second game with the franchise. The Bucks are still undefeated with Bledsoe suiting up, after winning 98-90 over the Los Angeles Lakers.
The game was a slog for a few reasons, one of which being that’s simply how the Lakers play ball. Los Angeles is a young team, and under the guidance of Magic Johnson, L.A. is hoping to reinvent Showtime basketball.
These Lakers aren’t anywhere close to the teams that sported Magic and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, but they sure do play fast.

That starts with Lonzo Ball, known for pushing the rock up the floor with unpredictable yet accurate passes across the court. Ball and the Lakers got to the rim plenty thanks to their collective motor, and the Bucks had just a two-point lead at halftime.
Milwaukee built on that advantage though, taking control of the game in the fourth quarter. Los Angeles stuck around and prevented any sort of a blowout, but the Bucks ended up winning pretty comfortably, 98-90.
