After a two day layoff, the Milwaukee Bucks cruised to their most commanding performance of the season by making quick work of the Sacramento Kings on Tuesday night.

Facing off against the Sacramento Kings proved to be what the Milwaukee Bucks needed as the middling Bucks took apart the inexperienced Kings, winning 112-87 Tuesday night.

Coming off of a frustrating night in Utah over the weekend, the Bucks were looking to get back on the right track while the Kings had just come off a thrilling victory against the Golden State Warriors in Oakland the previous night.

The Bucks were using those circumstances to their advantage as they were looking to push the pace at basically every instance from the opening jump. That led to a very end-to-end game from both teams through the first six minutes.

It was in the final few minutes of the opening period when the Bucks started to separate from the Kings and were out on top 32-26 through the first 12 minutes of the contest.

The Bucks blew open the game in the second quarter, thanks to Eric Bledsoe hitting another gear and their defense deflecting almost everything in sight, which stifled the Kings to only score 11 points in the frame.

Coming out of halftime, it was Giannis Antetokounmpo‘s turn to put on a show as the Bucks continued to pour it on and led by as much as 36 in the final few ticks of the third quarter.

With their starters taking a seat on the bench for the rest of the night, it was a mix and match of key role players and the more seldom used players for the Bucks to put on the finishing touches for the night.

As all Bucks fans were hoping for or expecting heading into the night, the Kings proved to be the exact salve the Bucks needed and they stepped up to do exactly what they should have done to an inferior squad like the Kings.

So without further ado, let’s take a deeper look at what worked for the Bucks against the Kings Tuesday night.
