The Milwaukee Bucks face the daunting task of looking for a win on the road against the Houston Rockets in order to avoid losing three straight games.

There’s no worse potential matchup in the NBA right now for a team trying to prevent a three-game losing streak than a road game against the Houston Rockets on the second night of a back-to-back, but that’s exactly what the Milwaukee Bucks face on Saturday night.

The deck would appear to be heavily stacked against the Bucks as they make the trip to battle a dazzling Rockets team, while hoping to regain the form of their recent run of six wins in seven games.

There may have been some hope that the Spurs would give the Rockets a really tough game on Friday night, perhaps creating an opening for the Bucks, but Houston looked as convincing as ever in cruising past San Antonio by 15 points.

The challenge for Milwaukee comes in not only needing strong performances from their Big Three of Giannis Antetokounmpo, Khris Middleton and Eric Bledsoe, but also desperately needing some form of support to come from an injury-stricken bench.

Milwaukee’s second unit has been a source of frustration throughout the season, but with the continued absences of Jabari Parker, Tony Snell, Matthew Dellavedova, Mirza Teletovic and Jason Terry, it certainly hasn’t grown any stronger of late.

With all of that in mind, let’s take a closer look at the action ahead, and highlight some potential keys to victory for both teams.
