The Milwaukee Bucks look to head into Christmas on a high by following up a home win over the Charlotte Hornets with a road win against the same opponent.

Come playoff time, coaches often talk about the difficulty in beating the same opponent in multiple games in a short span of time, and on Saturday night the Milwaukee Bucks will get a taste of a pretty extreme version of that.

Having just edged past the Charlotte Hornets on Friday night at the Bradley Center, the Bucks will have joined their opponents in heading for North Carolina ahead of a Saturday night rematch.

Milwaukee’s win put them 2-1 ahead in the season series between the two teams, although the Hornets will likely take solace from the fact that their sole win came in the previous matchup between the teams on their home court.

A dislocated finger for Dwight Howard and concussion-like symptoms for Kemba Walker both played a key role in swinging the momentum in Milwaukee’s favor on Friday, and with the quick turnaround they’ll both be storylines to watch in the lead-up to tip off in Charlotte.

A win for the Bucks would see them move to five games over .500 at Christmas for the first time since 2005, and would give them a perfect platform to kick on from over the rest of the season.

With all of that in mind, let’s take a closer look at the action ahead, and highlight some potential keys to victory for both teams.
