Milwaukee Bucks Game Preview: January 6 at Washington Wizards
By Adam McGee
After a terrible loss on Friday night, the Milwaukee Bucks will look to bounce back as they make the trip to D.C. to play the Washington Wizards on Saturday.
After a disastrous third quarter saw Friday’s game against the Toronto Raptors get away from them, the Milwaukee Bucks will have to enter Saturday’s game with the Washington Wizards fully aware of just how quickly things can turn around in the Eastern Conference.
With the East so hotly contested between positions 4-9 at the moment, consecutive losses can be a real killer, particularly when they may double up to hurt in tiebreaker situations with conference rivals later in the season.
A loss to the Wizards could see the Bucks separated from the ninth spot by just one game in the loss column by the end of play on Saturday, while a win could see Milwaukee tying the fifth placed record of the Miami Heat.

In other words, even though it’s only January, these games really matter to a Bucks team that has a puzzling 8-12 record against their own conference so far this year.
The Wizards caused the Bucks all kinds of problems in the previous meeting between the teams this season, and John Wall, Bradley Beal, Otto Porter and Co. will likely give Milwaukee plenty to think about again on this occasion.
With all of that in mind, let’s take a closer look at the action ahead, and how things might play out on Saturday from the CapitalOne Arena.
