Milwaukee Bucks: Takeaways from 110-103 win over Orlando Magic
Coming off their lowly loss to the Indiana Pacers earlier in the week, the Milwaukee Bucks got back on the right track Wednesday night, beating the Orlando Magic 110-103.
Following their embarrassing performance against the Indiana Pacers Monday night, the Milwaukee Bucks had the perfect salve in the Orlando Magic Wednesday night to get back to their winning ways.
It would take a bit to see that, though, as both the Bucks and Magic came out of the gates looking to score, but not really looking for ways to limit each other from doing so. That came to a head when the Bucks edged out the Magic at the end of the first, thanks to a buzzer beating push shot from Khris Middleton.

After a very bogged down second quarter for both teams, the Bucks started to turn it on near the latter stages of the period and led 53-46 heading into halftime.
The Bucks carried over that strong close to the first half into the third quarter as they ran wild on the Magic, thanks to some hot shooting from all members of their starting five (all five of the Bucks’ starters finished scoring in double figures Wednesday night).
Leading by 20 entering the fourth quarter, the Bucks looked to have gone in cruise control as they were looking to close the book on the Magic, which backfired on them at multiple points in the fourth. While the Magic were able to put a good scare on the Bucks late, it was all very much too little, too late as the Bucks closed out the game to earn their 22nd victory of the season.
Considering the defending NBA champions are next up on the schedule, there was no doubt that this was a game the Bucks needed to have and to their credit, they took care of business with everything considered before Friday night’s big test.
So without further ado, let’s take a deeper look at what stood out in the Bucks’ win over the Orlando Magic Wednesday night.
