The Milwaukee Bucks are heading down to South Beach to take on the surging Miami Heat for the first time this season on Sunday afternoon.
At an early tip time Sunday afternoon, the Milwaukee Bucks will be taking on the Miami Heat, kicking off their season series in Miami at American Airlines Arena in the process.
Last year, the Heat took the season series over the Bucks, winning three games to the Bucks’ one, which they coincidentally won one year yesterday (Saturday) at the BMO Harris Bradley Center.

The Heat will enter the game 24-17, which is good for fourth in the Eastern Conference, and are winners of six straight, following the same footsteps they’ve taken over the last couple of years (though, it’s not as dramatic as the rally last season’s team went on).
That makes for a sharp contrast with a team like the Bucks, who continue to deliver middling, uneven results under head coach Jason Kidd, even with the ongoing growth exhibited by superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo and the addition of Eric Bledsoe.
Of course, Bucks fans will be bracing themselves for any coaching wizardry Spoelstra will drop on Kidd and the Bucks as a whole Sunday, making for something to keep in the back of our collective minds should we have a tightly contested matchup on our hands.
With all that out of the way, let’s take a closer look at what lies ahead for both the Bucks and the Heat and how things could play out Sunday afternoon in Miami.
