For the second day in a row, the Milwaukee Bucks play in an early game as they face the Washington Wizards on MLK Day in the nation’s capital.
Since an impressive end to the fourth quarter allowed the Milwaukee Bucks to secure a win when these two teams met just over a week ago, Milwaukee has lost three of four games.
Not only do those losses represent disappointment in their own right, it’s worth noting that the Bucks’ performances against the Pacers and Heat represented two of their worst of the season to date too.
Having passed halfway in the Eastern Conference’s eighth spot in a season filled with justifiably high expectations, the Bucks need to click into a higher gear and Monday would be a really good place to start.

Having tipped off at 12pm CT on Sunday, the league’s slate of early starts for Martin Luther King Day hasn’t made things any easier for the Bucks as they prepare for a 1pm CT start against the Wizards in the nation’s capital on Monday.
The Wizards hold the potential to be a potential playoff rival for the Bucks and will be eager to avenge their recent loss to Milwaukee, yet if the Bucks want to be in a position to worry about playoff rivals over the coming months, the time has come for them to take things up a notch.
With all of that in mind, let’s take a closer look at the action ahead, and how things might play out on Monday from Capital One Arena.
