For the second time in nine days, the Milwaukee Bucks used a strong fourth quarter to get the better of the Washington Wizards on the road.
Although Monday’s win against the Washington Wizards featured more than its fair share of struggles, the Milwaukee Bucks produced a performance that included greater resilience and aggression to secure a much needed victory.
Those watching the game on TV could have been forgiven for thinking that someone had accidentally broadcasted a re-run of the meeting between the two teams in the same building nine days earlier, as many of the same patterns raised their head.
The Wizards didn’t have a stranglehold on the lead as they did for much of that previous game, but they would have felt equally good about their chances of sealing the game as the fourth quarter got underway, only for a late surge for the Bucks to seal the win.

After struggles the previous day in Miami, both Eric Bledsoe and Khris Middleton bounced back with truly impressive performances, with Bledsoe in particular coming on strong with an 11-point fourth quarter.
Meanwhile, Giannis Antetokounmpo grabbed his latest slice of personal history, as he set a new career-high for rebounds as he added 20 boards to his 27-point tally.
With two road wins in as many road games against the Wizards this year, it seems as if the Bucks are starting to feel particularly comfortable in this matchup.
How did the players perform individually on Monday, though? Let’s take a closer look.
